Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory
Anyone who has seen Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory realizes the value of exercising caution when visiting a vintage chocolate factory.
Okay, this chocolate business is not as odd as Willy Wonka’s. But it’s still an excellent place to find out about the history of one of the globe’s most recognized dessert companies. It’s famous for both its chocolate and its ice cream, so get a scoop.

Japanese Tea Garden
This 5-acre garden features various strolling trails through koi ponds. Buddhist shrines, vibrant pagodas, and Japanese plants and animals. Come in the spring to observe the cherry blossoms in bloom.
Make sure to eat at the excellent teahouse. It serves traditional teas and Japanese food. I get jasmine tea, udon, and mochi ice cream.
SF Botanical Garden
The San Francisco Botanical Garden, located in Golden Gate Park, features varieties of plants from across the entire globe.
Plants are structured in settings such as “Andean Cloud Forest” or “Temperate Asia.” There are other thematic landscapes. Such as the beautiful “Moon Viewing Garden” and the “Ancient Plants” area.
City Lights Bookstore
City Lights Bookstore is a staple in San Francisco’s historical North Beach neighborhood. Visit City Lights to find out more about its past and role in the Beat movement. In addition, it contributes to its long-term survival.
Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks offers the greatest views of San Francisco. This enormous hill is almost exactly in the center of the city. Provides views of the distant downtown, residential districts, the forested hills of Mt. Sutro, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Visit Twin Peaks right before sunset to feel its splendor. Market Street begins to light up, and the downtown twinkles. The Golden Gate Bridge shines bright orange, while fog rolls up from the hills. This is my most beloved view in the town.
SF Zoo
The zoo is one of the few places in San Francisco I haven’t visited yet, although I’ve heard it’s fantastic. How many more zoos are located on the beach?
The San Francisco Zoo is home to almost 2,000 rescued, unique, or endangered species. Younger guests may take advantage of the petting zoo, carousel, and steam train.
Opera House

Even if you don’t enjoy the performing arts, the San Francisco Opera House is interesting from the outside. The beautiful structure is located on the main Civic Center square.
Angel Island
Do you want to flee to an island just thirty minutes from the town? Visit Angel Island State Park, the Bay Area’s favorite playground.
To get there, board the ferry from the Ferry Building. A round-trip ticket costs $30, which includes the state park entrance price.
Once you arrive, you can go trekking, rent a bike, explore museums, or eat at the Angel Island Café. Angel Island even offers some of the best campgrounds in San Francisco, so why not spend the night?
